Family Looking for a certified Postpartum Doula
**Overview:**
A family is seeking a compassionate and reliable Overnight Certified (for CARROT) Postpartum Doula to provide support during the initial weeks following the arrival of a new baby. This role is essential as the family adjusts to their growing needs, particularly with a toddler in the home.
**Requirements:**
This role is crucial for promoting the well-being of the family during a transitional period and ensuring that everyone feels supported and rested, especially on weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic household with a toddler and a newborn.
- Must be comfortable around pets, specifically two poodle mix dogs weighing 70 lbs and 50 lbs.
- No travel required during the duration of the contract.
- No known allergies in the household.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist with overnight care during the first weeks of recovery, providing a supportive environment for the new parents!
- Facilitate daily routines and manage the needs of a family as a whole while ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere.- Help prepare the family for church on Saturday evenings, ensuring all members are ready to leave by 8 AM or 9:30 AM on Sunday mornings.
- Offer flexibility in work schedule, primarily on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, with an emphasis on Saturday night assistance. (5 nights a week)
Compensation and Benefits
Based on experience.
Required Qualifications
Only accepting candidates that are Certified, either doulas or Newborn Care Specialists.
5+ years of infant experience.
Up to date Certifications.
The ideal candidates will be nurturing, patient, and experienced in newborn care, with a strong understanding of infant development and safety. They will be attentive to the baby’s needs.
